To be fair, Twilight WAS acting irrational and straight up accused “Cadance” of being evil with no actual proof.
I was surprised that even Celestia left her. I was expecting more from her at the time.
Chrysalis wasn’t too great an actor here, actually–it was pretty clear she was faking it. Everyone was too surprised by Twilight’s crazy behavior to notice it, though.

No, Chrysalis was lame (if existing at all) as an actor. I thought it was strange from scene one when she walked up.
I wasn’t saying it was impossible to fake a cry, I was just surprised Chrysalis was able to to it.
And if you’ve seen her impersonating Cadance during ACW, she really wasn’t that great of an “actor” otherwise…
