I remember trying to propose a name for him that was Qing related because of that cut.

Seeing as how “French” are depicted in the show as a Pony(Haute Cuisine from Ponyville) and Gustave le Grande a griffon. “Hispanics” being portrayed as both Ponies and mule in the show. “Meso-Americans” as buffoloes and ponies(Daring Don’t). And this guy from Magic Duel.
