In this particular instance it is justified, though the main reason it happened in this story was for the setup for them finding food immediately after she ate her own baby. Many people depict Fluffies as horrible creatures even when they don’t need to act that way to survive as justification for the treatment they get.

People here still don’t understand that this is just survival instincts for animals and even for us humans.

Fluffies make horrible parents I should know I was raise by feral Fluffies called me monster baby try to stomp me to death multiplu times and tried to eat me it tickles had to force them to feed me I killed the other babies and told if no feed me I will kill any other babies they have from that point if they refuse to feed me. I became smarty friend of that herd everyone eats runts included need big number to attack herds who refuse to join with my herd. They wuv me me best smarty friend kill bad smarties.
