In the book delivery scene. Twilight’s on a chair but I don’t think it was hers and the mark did nothing, while Rarity was on hers and you can see her mark on the chair glowing.

An observation this scene - Fluttershy starts off her throne to start and the mark is not glowing, but as she steps onto the cushion, the mark suddenly starts shining.

We knew it was butt-activated magic, just interesting to see the level of detail they see to have for it.
