I always wanted to see how the whole “Dragon Quest” episode would be if they were all girls instead of guys. Since the episode depicts the teenage dragons as “typical” teenage guys, who like to do tail wrestling, belching contests, and king of the hoard, genderswapped, the teenage dragons would be “typical” teenage girls. The kind that act stuck up, and proper, yet insult others who aren’t the same.
 
Here’s how I think the episode would be like: Barb wants to find out more about her roots, and joins the dragon migration, with Dusk Elusive and Blitz following close behind. When she gets there, she meets the teenage dragons. However, unlike in the actual episode where spike is a bit more feminine, Barb is a bit more tomboyish. When the other dragonesses show off their polished scales on their tails, hers are more chipped and filthy. When they show off different ways they can make beautiful flames in a dignified manner, she can only use her flame to belch up a letter from a “namby-pamby pony prince,” which they find simply repulsive and ridiculous. When they all compete to dig up gems without chipping a claw, she simply jumps into the dirt and digs like a loud drill, getting herself and all the others filthy. She isnt able to prove herself a proper dragoness, until all the others jump into a lava pool. All of them are able to jump into the incredibly hot pool, with a different type of pose. She is able to impress them all with a freak accident. She falls off the ledge, causing her to fall in an unusual pose, which the dragonesses hilariously, find amazing. But things take a turn for the worst, when Barb finds out that the dragonesses smash phoenix eggs. They believe it to be proper behavior to do it, because it instills fear into the hearts of other animals, and keeps the dragonesses in charge. Barb however detests doing this, and would much rather be a pony, than a proper dragoness.
 
I’m trying to incorporate how they would all act as girls. Since the actual episode makes the dragons seem like jerk-jocks, the dragonesses would be like bratty rich girls.
