However, as an end to a comic, this is confusing, frustrating, and annoying. I’m sorry, but I just don’t like it. Nothing about End of a Generation seemed good to me.

the problem is it a pointless story that adds up to nothing with a meaningless morel, unresolved plots and OOC characters that are just painful to watch and read, I’m not dissing the guy, he a great artiste but this is just rubbish
I’m not sure what you mean. The dangers present in this comic are basically the same ones they faced in the show.
Even the artist has admitted that the pacing of this story is horrible. And he appreciates the honest criticism people are giving him.
We are told things are bad, threats of war breaking out, ponies dissatisfied. Dont know about others but at least i couldn’t really get into it.
But hey the artwork is good and the hug at the end is cute.

personally unless the one you’re commenting on already knows you, sometimes an honest, earnest opinion on DA would be taken very seriously as an offense. especially if there are language barriers.
I don’t think that’s quite it. Most dA users are pretty young (for some insane reason), so by and large they’re not up to the task of writing useful reviews. I’d rather have users like that leave fluffy, insubstantial comments than vainly attempt to sound smart. But certainly, polite and well thought-out observations are the best.
Also, Wheaton’s Law or whatever.
the twists were ok but at least sunset knows she made a lot of wrong decisions (other heroes won’t even acknowledge that much).

It really pisses me off that everybody in DA is showering it with praise.
It’s why it’s such a bad art website, everybody is too afraid of offending the artists’s precious feelings by saying that maybe everything that they create isn’t the spunk of Christ.
Pretty much this; it feels more like something that should have been run through a writers’ group for constructive criticism as a stepping stone for publicly-released comics, rather than released publicly itself. Not an abomination, not proof Beavernator should never write a multipart comic again, but something that should be viewed as a learning experience.
