Huh…I alwys thought that was just part of the palace…those sneaky animators.
You can see it in this screenshot from The Best Night Ever, for example.
I looked at the show, there are actually two castles right next to one another… I think the smaller one used to be a unicorn castle (Blueblood and unicorn royalty) today it is used for royal functions and a cart and boat show.
