The pegasi forming the brunt of the Enclave main force, the armor of the Enclave Soldier was originally designed for three things: Aerodynamics, Lethality, and Intimidation. Pioneered by Rainbow Dash, and designed by Rarity, this scary unit was sent out to strike fear in the hearts of the Zebra enemies before striking them down with either a devastating blast from their vaporizing gemstone lasers targeted with a built-in EFS, or a deadly strike from the robotic scorpion tail.
Now, with the Pegasi holding the only semblance of civilization left, they have repurposed these deadly suits for their own army, now giving them to most of their trained units. An alien-looking appearance to the wastelanders, due to the cleanliness and striking features of the armor, the Enclave still brings fear to all of those who oppose them.
And I know that some of you might rail on me on the appearance of the armor, so here’s the actual description from the fanfiction that I based this armor off of:
“A pegasus pony who was encased in a black insectoid carapace, with only the front of her muzzle and the underside of her wings showing. Her tail was hidden within a scorpion-like sheath with a vicious barbed stinger. The ebony suit of armour was sleek and wicked. Yellow-orange protective goggles with a bug like compound eye patten completed the look. built into the sides of the suit were antenna-like protrusions; the crystals that tipped those magical-energy weapons shimmered with shifting rainbow light.”
