Perhaps,but that doesn’t mean you should antagonize them or that vinyls music is good. To me this feels reminiscent of some bastard blastin some crap on his car stereo In a neighborhood in some arrogant state of mind that he’s giving the locals some good music or something when in reality it’s distracting,annoying and probaly a sound violation.
 
Now the context here is up to intepration(speaclly with Luna there).Maybe all the ponies dance to the beat in the next panel,maybey they get arrested for disturbing the peace(explain that to Celestia),maybey they get bored and go home.We have the setting,what matters is the consequence of this,it’s justification and purpose are all up to the perspectives we hold. For all we know those ponies in shock and disgust in the picture may not be nobles and all like you though But young bussiness ponies or musicians disturbed at the scence before them with all their rigth to…just saying.

Pretty sure the Nobility are merely trend followers, outside a few trendsetters (Fancy Pants).
 
In short, they don’t have any tastes, just what’s fed to them.

I doubt nobilty who’s class is defined by culture and refinement would have “bad taste” in music. I assume whatever vinyl is playing is simply “inapproprate” for the selected envorment and if that was Intentional to well then someponies are being kind of jerks in a way.
