It’s one step away from, “Do you see the kind of #$&% I’m forced to put up with?”
I don’t think that matters. The rate at which the scorpions consume oxygen is faster than the rate at which air could replace the carbon dioxide through that small gap.
“This refers to any atmosphere—air—which contains less than 1% oxygen. Even at just 3%, 96% of the insects died after 48 hours (at the same temperature). For reference, the normal level of oxygen in the air is 21%.Sep 28, 2018”
Is what I got when I goggled it

Starve or dehydrate is more likely. I doubt a cup placed on the floor is air-tight.
EquestrArachnidiaWe can’t stop here, this is scorp country.
That’s the Scorpion’s House now.
I’m going to say no.
Mostly because, no matter how silly your question was intended to be, I still don’t want you spraying poison onto your head just to give greater gravity to the joke.
Jokes kill.

So, could I just spray some in my hair?
My thoughts and feelings are with you. We just mainly worry about spiders around here.
I have been stung by a scorpion three times in my life, and every single one was in my own goddamn bed while trying to sleep. I was also in a deep sleep once when I felt something crawling on my shoulder and just reflexively ninja-punched it, and when I woke up enough to turn on the light there were scorpion parts all over my side of the bed.
We keep all of our cups and bowls upside down in the cabinets, otherwise it’s more or less inevitable that they’ll have at least one scorpion in them when we take them down.
Kills household pests, including:
-Fleas
-Ticks
-Spiders
-Lice
-Ants
-Water Bugs
-Cockroaches
-Scorpions
If I lived in a place where scorpions were considered to be an everyday household pest, I would tip right on out the door and move away immediately, because screw that noise. Already had ‘em in my boots enough because of Texas, I don’t want to open my cupboard or something and see that jazz scurrying around in there like they own the place.
“Would you mind ever so much closing that door? There’s a draft and, well, we’ll sting you if you don’t. Could be deadly, could be mildly irritating like a bee sting. Roll those dice, human, life’s a lottery!”
Oh, I’ve seen it on Tumblr, too; cruel minds often think alike.
I can’t help but feel I’ve heard this one before. Still, funny as hell.
US politicians would try this though.

Green is the range of the Striped Bark Scorpion, which would include Ponyville if you assume Equestria to be roughly analogous to North America (with “The Frozen North” being southern Canada).
i could draw that
You have given me the mental image of Rainbow Dash licking ponies to freak them out.
scorpions dont only live in the dessert or djungle, there are quite alot of them living in europa and ´merica
like the Euscorpius but there poision is weak, and works like wasp or bee poision, however the sting pains alot.
Vaejovis spinigerus goes up to nevada i think and is also not rly poisionius, be aware, the more colors something has in the animel world the more deadly is its poision. that would mean Rainbow Dash is the most deadly thing in equestria!
