I’ve noticed something. The fandom in general doesn’t much care for Applejack. However, she’s disproportionately popular among the fandom’s musicians and artists (and even with some pros - Andy Price has said several times that AJ is his favourite Mane6 pony).
 
I wonder why that is? What do the creative types “get” about AJ that other fans don’t?
 
As for me, I consider AJ second best Mane6 and second best overall pony (after Rarity).
