I wouldn’t call it jealousy, considering that AJ never show any sing that would lead us to the conclusion that she’d like to have wings. She seems to be proud of being an earth pony and her only motivation to prevent Dash from using her wings was fact that she saw it as cheating.
I agree with this
Their certainly was some animosity in “fall weather friends” over the merits of wings,however they made up at the end. This could be in the time between the competition and the race.
rather hard to “wear a lovestruck expression” holding a lasso with your teeth :P

well, I’d really like to see the examples of when that so called jealousy took place in the cartoon, because so far I just see highly biased opinion without a good reason
