..Then Twixie would probably be more popular, or less? .-.  
Because, you know, she was one of the first ponies that ever appeared (before the EVERYONE IS MAH WAIFU thing i believe), so people shipping Twixie would cause a certain controversy..but it wouldn’t be strong.

Hey, i don’t ship Mauxie that much, but is cute and who knows, maybe in the next season Maud or somepony else on her family (I understood that we’re seeing the full family the next season…but i don’t know if they’re gonna visit Ponyville or the Mane six is going to visit them) has a photo of Trixie when she was working on the rock farm. And then fans start to think is yuri undertone and well. You know what to do in that time. It’s highly unlikely but maybe there is a little thing that makes them remember Trixie or something.
