Votes are subjective. People will upvote or downvote based on art quality, content, the artist’s prior works, that their favorite pony is in it, that their least favorite pony is in it and suffering something horrible, that their least favorite pony is NOT suffering, if it’s a meme, if it references political events, or anything at all, really.
