I’m sorry. Most of us.
I almost had lost it after the way they handled season 3. Not because of the alicorn drama (that was fun to watch), but just the pacing, the odd story execution, plot convenience, etc.
Granted, that stuff was in season 4 but they became much better at managing it.
But that doesn’t even matter.
I just said that so I’ll be prepared if they somehow go full retard on that end.
What’s all this “We” nonsense?
They managed to dissappoint when I had no expectations.
I’m not picking sides. I’m just keeping low expectations. We all had high expectations in the hiatus for season 3 and look how that turned out. We lowered our expectations for season 4 and came out on top.
I’m doing this specifically for that reason. That and the first movie’s climax was completely out of nowhere. I’ve written fanfics with better buildup to a conflict than what they threw together.

I think it’s pretty obvious ponies have no sense of time, so I don’t see the whole “30 moons” thing being all that important. Celestia probably just hoof-waved the figure to begin with.

Or on the other limb, she might not be secure enough to go around without makeup.

That probably makes more sense than having moons be months, given that the moon cycle in Equestria is manually controlled and therefore vastly different than in a setting where it goes by itself.
She’s (Twi) part of these teaser, though this one is more a series of random shots, than anything continuous.
The best thing would be them drawing a pentagram and burning candles to summon Twilight.
For the record, they said the MIRROR only works every 30 moons. For all we know they use a different method entirely to summon Twilight.
She had it on in the first movie too. I know, it looks weird on her.
I dunno, Fluttershy just doesn’t strike me as the type who would wear any kind of makeup that would draw additional attention upon herself.
They’ve already confirmed it’s Pony Twilight, coming back over.
And yes, the DHX staff and writers have been saying “30 moons” doesn’t have an equivalent time scale in human terms.
It doesn’t work on her as a pony but I think as the next girl-y girl after Rarity, its needed for her as a human where her hair doesn’t otherwise cover her eyes much. Also, because of her yellow being close to white, her blink cycle doesn’t work as well without it. (even moreso on Rarity, but none of the others have that problem with even the paler colors)
If he’s from the Human world… why would he talk? Is he a magical dog? Can animals talk in EqG world? Is he on loan from Pound Puppies? Is it puppy power?

I remember a sypnosis some time ago saying that it was Princess Twilight exactly.
I’d rather not go into how much it damages the first movie if it is Twilight the Pony, people get mad when I do that.
They didn’t show him. I still am not sure if they are going to use Twilight from the pony universe. I think the mane 5 are going to try to contact her for help, but will end up using Twilight from their own world.
Can’t imagine why he wouldn’t talk again.
