Comments sections for art are a bit different than forum threads. If he were replying to others, you’d have a point, but I think it’s fine to comment on the art itself no matter how old it is.

But to answer your question, the other pics tagged “why meph why” are because they’re…well, not bad, as shown by the upvotes on some of them. It’s just strange and feels wrong somehow.
For example, this picture. The light-pastel rainbow hair clashes oddly with her very dark skin. And the “half-shaved, half-not-shaved” hairstyle is just…ugly.
According to the tag changes, he put that there himself.
Then why are things like >>370855 tagged it? Doesn’t matter who uploaded it, it’s highly upvoted and obviously liked. You make yourselves look racist with stuff like that.
Because Meph is notorious here for uploading really ugly black humanizations to make us seem racist when we inevitably disapprove.
I was running behind on my daily quota and this was one of the few non-oc images I could find before I had to leave for an appointment.
