Y’know, it’s very strange. Despite almost being solely comedy, the abridged version actually manages to tell the story of DBZ well, almost as good as Kai. It’s basically the perfect thing to watch if you want to get into DBZ but don’t want to slag through about 300 episodes.

honestly I couldn’t get into the show as a kid. it was slow and I didn’t understand the plot. but the abridged version keeps me entertained and happy. I was surprised when saw some mild gore from when Nail’s was ripped off, I was actually thinking that I was on an adult/teen rayed channel.
