I don’t think it will, I just like how it can’t be pointed out.
It’s already disappointing that Babs didn’t appear for season 4. Yet, all this time, she still doesn’t have any official merchandise? Not even in those Blind Bags.
What gives?

It is almost as if Hasbro likes money or something.
Anti-pandering fans forget the younger “target demographic” fans apparently like the background/bit characters to. Plus, they also forget they’ve been using side characters in the merch’ for a long time actually. (Remember the “Heartstrings,” and “Lulamoon” toys?)
Because others might want something else, I guess.

I mean… I know they also like to mess with the fans, but I find it a bit strange how people talk about Hasbro + the various other companies that license pony merch giving us what we want like it’s a bad thing.

They know their audience. The cards are still very kid friendly so it won’t hurt the brand.
And in the movie, and in the comics…
They have been pandering in merch for quite a while now. It’s a good thing, actually.
But, I still need to pick up Luna and Celestia’s sets first.
