Twilight is NOT textbook OCD, she doesn’t resemble OCD at all. What Lesson Zero looks like is OCPD, which is completely unrelated.
So Pinkie Pie’s contrast to the rest of the Pie-family isn’t actually that surprising.

Actually, it’s ADD/ADHD (if not treated correctly or not at all) that causes BPD, not the other way round.
It’s ADD/ADHD’s mood swings that manifest itself as mental disorder, not the mood swings manifesting as ADD/ADHD.
In EQG: Rainbow Rocks, Maud leans more towards schizophrenia, though.

You could also say that of those with Asperger’s syndrome. Nerds who don’t or didn’t know how to make friends.
Twi’s got OCD and comes off as simply being a nerd that never knew how to make friends.
Maud however is incapable of socializing normally, which is very different. She is my favourite character, which is odd as most characters I can relate to, I hate. Like Fluttershy and Scootaloo who are terrible ponies, but reminded me of myself. Maud is great though, she’s perfect! And totally autistic!
Well, not everyone with autism is the same, everyone experiences it differently.
I think Twi is more of the “aspie”, but that’s just me.
I actually like idea of Maud being autistic, I think it fits her quite well. She has many symptoms. And as an aspie myself I can relate to her.
