I don’t particularly enjoy being sappy, but I have to when I see images like this.
That theory works very well with the picture. Plus, AJ seems like she might have some self-esteem issues. In the Last Roundup, she was so scared of her friends and family being disappointed in her that she cuts them off, and then risks her life to avoid telling them about what she thinks is a failure. I’m sure there are other examples but that’s the one that comes to mind immediately.
