Description
Sega is quite tired of Sonic fans requesting a spot for their OCs and Shenmue fans.

Yeah, the HD Night-Trap was already mentioned below.
Shame, Nightjack was one of the few people here whom liked talking to me.
As well as the HD Night Trap.
Also, Nightjack left the site a while back, unfortunately.

Nothing, but Shamu 2 just felt too much like a movie. :p
@Jarkes
That one always gets me. XD
“A whale on a quest for revenge.” What’s better then that?
Not sure I want that…
Edited
I’d play it. Especially, if you get to chase Sonic in it. :P

Might make this even more hilarious in hindsight.
I said then before in another place, and Shenmue fanboys can come at me for all I care.
Shenmue should be dead, they where way to ambitious with it, having a very long story and with how hard it was to get for some, no one could really pick it up without starting from the first game as the story flowed from one to ther over as a continuous narrative.
You want to make a series where ever installment is directly coming from the end of the last then you better make sure ever installment is easily accessible for everyone or not make it one continuous unborken narrative.
If they don’t get Shenmue 1 and 2 out with 3 then fuck Shenmue 3, let it fail.
Bummer…
Another hilarious in hindsight bit is the part about Shenmue 3, with the kickstarter for that game having started a while back. Though if I’m not mistaken, the original Shemmue’s budget was freaking huge, and last I heard about it (it’s probably gotten beyond it since), 3’s Kickstarter had reached 1/9 of the original game’s budget, and that was without adjustments for inflation.
Funny thing is, after they announced the game wasn’t coming to any Nintendo systems, due to their own personal grudge against Nintendo and former NOA prez Howard Lincoln, (sense he demonized the game) a lot of Nintendo fans were upset, so they said they may reconsider it.
Which is funny ’cause the game is said to be notoriously “bad/cheesy,” I guess some want to see it for themselves much like the CDI-Zelda games.
Actually, regardless what some claim in the “gamer’s internet news media,” and the WiiU not doing as well as the PS4, and XBone, it’s still sold millions of units sense it came out, (according to Wiki, which actually isn’t as bad as some claim it’s doing) it has several million selling games, and not to mention games like “Splatoon” have been selling pretty well, and been very well critically-recieved.
“Last place” doesn’t automatically mean “failing.” In fact, similarly the GameCube while it finished last in it’s generation still made plenty of profits. (Helped the GCN was cheaper then it’s pricetag to manufacture unlike it’s competition at the time. Even when it went down to $99 it still made profits.)
Not to mention, the 3DS actually has outdone all the consoles, so Nintendo is not going out of business anytime soon.
As for Sega, I agree I’d love to see them make a come back, make more better games, and for them bring back games like Vectorman, Ristar, (even if a co-developer has to help them make them) heck even a new “Alex Kidd” would be nice. I hear Billy Hatcher was quite good, and it was made by the same people as Sonic. Shame it never got a sequel, regardless of being a cult-classic.
Lol really? Have you seen them back in 2008 and the aftermath of Nintendo? The Wii U did very poor openly a long way back. And they’ve lost Iwata, so I think they’re declining in quality for a bit just as Sega. I haven’t played Splatoon yet, but I do know that is kind of on life support on the Wii U.@Beau Skunky
@Beau Skunky
There are some games that I want back like Vectorman, Kid Chameleon, and making the Shining Force games revolving around Max (The Gordan Freeman of the game universe as well as your personality) only, and not every anthological character in every single game. And that weird obscure anime adaptation thing doesn’t help at all.
I’m more of a Sega fan than a Nintendo fan, but I pick things that I love more than the mainstream. I regretted on not playing Billy Hatcher because I thought they’re trying to make it all edgy and “hip” for the kids like Sonic. But the gameplay looks kooky and fun and sporadic looking back.
Samba De Amigo and Space Channel 5 I have yet to play. But Crazy Taxi was great. NiGHTS, don’t get me started, she/he is cute to me. And the gameplay looks wonderful as well as carefree looking. Reala’s theme is amazing to listen too!
As much as I love the blue blur, I am curious why they haven’t pulled a “Nintendo,” and brought their other old series back again. (Heck, Nintendo is finally bringing back “Star Fox,” and finally released the first EarthBound/Mother game.) If they can’t afford to do it themselves, they could always team up with another developer to help them out.
I think they did make a new “Golden Ax” years back, as well as some other sequels to their other cult-classic games, (like “NiGHTS,” and “Samba De Amigo” for Wii) but apparently those didn’t do very well either.
They are having M2 remake some of their best games on the 3DS Eshop. They recently put out “3D Streets of Rage 2,” and “3D Gunstar Heroes.” (And soon “3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2.”) So there’s still some life left in Sega.
I haven’t seen a new game on any one of these game series since their last outing on the PSP, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and the Gameboy Advance 10 years ago.
Some SEGA fans belive that SEGA is dead and gone because of that.
Indeed… Y’know, as a teen I was a li’l embarrassed for awhile to even admit I liked Mario games, ’cause people were saying they were “kid games,” and such.
True. Nobody’s perfect after all.
@SRD639
Well, as both a Sonic fan, and brony, I can relate, but sometimes it’s best not to give a sh** what others think. It’s also ironic having these internet nerds “judging” you solely on fanbases.
So is this one. People look at Sonic Fans and call them “Autistic” or “Faggots”, while others look at Bronies and call them “Pedophiles” or “Disgusting”.
I hate being a part of them both because of all the shit talk there is.
Nah… it can’t be. Yakuza 5 actually exists. It just hasn’t been localized.
