Interestingly, this is one theory for the origin of the word “squick,” an onomatopoeia for the sound made by a man fucking a hole in the victim’s skull. Then it later expanded to the “gross mind-fuck” in a more metaphorical sense. As far as I’ve been able to find, the “brain-fucking” definition predates the “grossing out” definition by about 15 years, but the penetrance (see what I did there?) of the definition as literal intercourse with a hole into the brain was largely limited to the alt.tasteless Usenet group.
 
It’s also related to an old joke (which I’m going to “filly twilight telling an offensive joke” right now).
