On bigger damage sponge enemies, it’s basically easy crits for 6 seconds, as aiming down sights auto aims at crit-spots. (This makes for hilarious fun with a Jakob’s sniper rifle and a mob of scavs in front of you)
I’ve been playing Nisha the past couple of days, the extra time is noticeable enough to keep showdown going for a few extra seconds even without the damage buff. Plus, the Pre-sequel has a lot more smaller enemies compared to BL2, Kragons being the most prominent as they multiply quickly. The action skill cool down is really fast too, since the skill is shoter than others.
Except, Borderlands as a series is notorious for bullet-spongy enemies. that extra .5 seconds is useless if you’re not dropping bandits with each shot. Really, it’s little wonder she doesn’t even rate as a full sized boss battle in Borderlands 2.
One of her first skills extends her showdown by .5 seconds per kill (.1 per level). Throw in a class mod that buffs this stat (they do exist!) and as long as you have enemies in front of you, showdown will continue WELL beyond 6 seconds. Not to mention, another skill of hers later in the same skill tree increases damage the longer showdown goes. It just keeps going and getting stronger as long as there is someone’s face to shoot in.
She’d be OP for about six seconds.
At least there’s no Bee…
Hopefully…
Jakobs for a plain sniper, but I’d pretty much always rather have an elemental one. Typically all I ever need is one fire one and one corrosive one (And not even the corrosive one until I get to fighting hyperion bots)
Oh yeah, because I love me some burst firing sniper rifles :V Great example of what I mean by the gimmicks getting in the way. Same with Hyperion sniper rifles, just completely worthless.
Hey, Vladof and Dahl mostly sell those…
UVHM was a disappointment for me.
Also the amp damage from the Bee is only divided between each shot on weapons with a multiplier.
The Unkempt Harold doesn’t have a multiplier, it only fires one shot (or two if you get the double barrel version) and the single shot splits itself up into 7. Each split still receives maximum amp damage so it also multiplies the amp damage by 7
Combined with the bee, harry probably stands as the deadliest and most versatile weapon the the game.
Luna up there should have no trouble un UVHM
Yup. I believe there were some weapons that bypassed the bullet nerf because they fired a single bullet but soon split after it was fired. I forget the name of one weapon at the moment.
They nerfed it’s recharge rate, delay, and capacity as well. They also nerfed all amp shields by making the damage split across all bullets shot, making all weapons with a x2 or higher not worth using with an amp.
Actually, they just balanced UVHM against only the Bee.
I like it but only to an extent. Borderlands 1 was better. Borderlands 2 is too gimmicky. My kingdom for a straightforwards fucking gun.
That- is entirely true.
Always had fun on Zer0 when I solo’d that raid boss in the Captain Scarlett DLC.
Pyro Pete Raid boss in Torgue’s DLC was just annoying. If you had a Bee with acid resistance, he was a dang push over.
I haven’t used this gun or played as Gunzerker in a long time. Either way you’re going to destroy the thing you’re aiming at.
