We wanted to provide you with a special update on one of the more interesting causes that has helped with supporting Michael. Ever since the craze of getting My Little Pony tattoos was started by Imperial Tattoo Company in Sugar Land, Texas a few months ago, it has become a trend that has swept the nation. Parlor owners have been calling in to take part, and fellow supporters have been showing off their pony tattoos on the “Support and Love for Michael Morones” Facebook page. We have been blown away by everybodys efforts in not only raising funds but also in standing up against bullying and recognizing it as a serious issue everywhere.
While we greatly appreciate everybody’s support, we wanted to give a special shout-out to the Beauty Mark Tattoo locations in Connecticut. These studios recently wrapped up their efforts in raising over $10,000 from inking My Little Pony tattoos on local supporters, with $5,000 going to the Michael Morones Foundation and the other half going to Michael’s medical needs. We are so thrilled that this idea has become such a national hit, and we can’t thank co-owners Jessica OSullivan, Peter Coinin Jr. and Jason Marcoux enough. Also, we wanted to send a big thank-you to supporter Tommy McCully for helping to spur the movement as well as the artists at Beauty Mark Tattoo, who include B. Brooke, Steve Marzin, “Filthy” Rich, Troy Martin, Jared McCloud, Kt and David Fusco. We encourage you to check out the craze for yourself by heading over to the “Bullies Beware!” Beauty Mark Tattoo Facebook album and our “Marks for Michael!” page for plenty of pictures and other content regarding their efforts.
Although these tattoo events are greatly helping with Michael’s road to recovery, we are still in need of your continued support as we continue to face mounting medical expenses. We hope that you will consider donating $100, $50, or $25, along with your loving thoughts and prayers, to help! All monies donated will be used for Michaels long-term medical needs and to ensure we can provide him with the care he will need for the rest of his life.
Thank you again for all of your support and generosity! We couldnt have made it through these difficult months without the help of people like you and the tattoo parlor owners who have dedicated so much time to helping Michael’s cause. Please continue to pray and send positive thoughts our way as we hope to continue using these special events to ensure that what happened to Michael doesnt happen again to anyone, anywhere.
Sincerely,
The Morones-Suttle Family
In fact, I wouldn’t get any tattoo.
At least it’s well made.
