I already mentioned an egg. Nom nom nom XD
Put some sort of binder/thickener in there, like potato flakes or an egg, and it’ll pan-fry just fine.
And actually, if you put cooked oats in the fridge, it will solidify so you can cut rounds from it and grill em up. I’ve done similar things with grits.
You might throw a few other things in there too, like black beans and a little egg for binder.
Actually, if I manage to get a working version of this, I”ll post the recipe in the comments!
Well, maybe if you put a little bit on, kinda like sloppy joes, it could work. Which come to think of it, Oat burgers could actually be the show’s analog to them.
Not feasible. With oat’s paste-like consistency it would squeeze out when you press the two buns together.
