Thank you all for your support in making thisits certainly been fun. Overall compared to the old version, I can really see just how much Ive improved. :D
Enjoy my interpretation of heights and body types and completely accidental fan service.

Dude, I could count on one hand the people I know over seven foot… You… Eh, I think that’s it. XD
I want a woman that’s rather large. I said large, not wide. AJ has a very muscular frame and I like that.
Also, I like the hands, that makes them pretty “exotic” xD
Can’t unsee.. ]:
Should have used both on the actual image ^^`
Translated into centimeters their heights are:
Applejack: 177.80cm
Rarity: 170.18cm
Twilight Sparkle: 165.10cm
Rainbow Dash: 160.02cm
Pinkie Pie: 160.02cm
Fluttershy: 157.48cm
Exactly that.
@Nivrax
That’s fair–ultimately, it’s one thing for me to do three-fingered hands. And it’s yet another for me to actually do it right. I definitely don’t feel I pull it of perfectly in each case, because lets face it.
Hands are hard to draw.
Just my opinion though… and hoovsies are best thing there is <3.
Real horses have two vestigal digit remnants along with the one toe they stand on. Maybe Ambris took inspiration from them?
They’re anthro equines and not primates, so you didn’t want to give them a five digit primate hand. Fair enough. But is there any specific reason you skipped over a four digit hand and went straight for the three digit hand?
I do like the way you draw your hooves. They’re aesthetically pleasing in the way they seem to lengthen the leg and define the calf muscle, much in the same way a high heeled shoe would. Plus, I’ve never been a fan of feet and toes myself.
The thumb is a finger, it doesn’t matter if it’s opposable or not.
Two and a thumb, hardly matters though, three digits is three digits.
@Background Pony #5293
I count three fingers, actually.
Which is the minimum for having a solid grasp on objects.
And you barged in
Which means you will be held down and given a makeover
Because ponies don’t actually have fingers at all. Giving them a full set of hands just seems weird to me in that case.
out of curiosity, why you choose that hands format?
Can’t please everyone I suppose.
shrug
I’d be indifferent if Ambris used the typical four finger hands of many cartoons. Like I said, the three fingered hands remind me of Ninja Turtles. They look very alien besides.
That’s always been one of my favorite details in Ambris’s work. Regular ponies don’t have fingers at all, so to me it makes sense that anthros wouldn’t have as many as a human.
