“Flare de Mare” has apparently become the name on her images, but I still think that Qadhan is way cooler. It’s got color, and it’s not another name that involves a horse synonym.

I really like the idea of her being a Saddle Arabian. My personal fanon is that Fleur-de-Lis is partly Saddle Arabian, so why not more ponies?

Her costume looks almost exactly like Mistress Marevelous. The colors are identical, as far as I can tell.

Her model kind of looks like a Saddle Arabian. And there’s a relevant image in a sura of the Qu’ran by the name of Al-Adiyat, in which one of the verses is roughly transliterated, Faalmooriyati qadhan, which means roughly, “striking sparks of fire (with their hooves).”
 
So I think Qadhan might be an interesting name for this pony. Perhaps an Arabic speaker would like to chime in on the construction?

If people are dubious about Flare de Mare, how about Firebrand?

Its just a different, bigger female model.

I love the fact that they’re hesitantly holding out their comics to one another, as if the other would just take both comics and start running.
