You and I have been reading different threads, then.
Most of what I’ve seen are people more indifferent to Flash than actually hating him. As for why, maybe it’s because he’s from EqG (also that wouldn’t explain why Normal Norman has a following), maybe it’s because he’s a guy, I don’t know.
But they hate Flash Sentry!
Pony fandom just likes to obsess over ponies that don’t really have a personality other than what fans themselves have made up (Lyra, Octavia, Luna in earlier seasons, the list goes on). And yes, I don’t really get it either.
Then again, I guess that people just like “empty” characters which they can use as vessels to shoehorn their fanon into the grand scheme.
I’m actually planning on using all 4 princesses with the “Best pony” tagline.
