Hehe…now in my head I’m imagining the RD in the place of Gohan when he’s facing down Super Buu, except instead of Super Buu its Super Smooze.
 
Super Smooze: “So hot shot, you think you can stop the Smooze?”  
Ultimate Rainbow Dash: “Stop you? No, I’m going to kill you.”
 
Then proceeds to beat the crap out of him and drop him in lava in round 2, just like in G1 MLP.

And people no longer have the ‘this isn’t anime’ argument since the battle between Celestia and Nightmare Moon.
 
In fact I’ve noticed most of RD’s recent episodes have been putting emphasis not just on her unbelievable power and speed, but her restraint. She dropped some of her restraints at the academy at the behest of her ‘supposedly superior’, Lightning Dust, and suddenly the tornado was too much for LD to control first. Then in later episodes, she’s called in to do things with the most caution, to the point where she created a breeze too weak for even the breezies. Man I REALLY want to know more about RD’s backstory. Is she just a normal pegasi, or is she, like Gohan, ‘the Ultimate Half-Breed’
