The Smarty would be strung up from a scratching post for feral cats who would love to go Chris Brown on their new toy

I would let the herd of fluffy ponies and foals live but throw the smarty to a group of cats or dogs rescued from illegal fighting rings: the narcissistic pony sounds just like the twisted abusers who beat them for sport. the dogs would then enjoy a tasty snack after playing with the fuzzy ball

I myself prefer abuse of the deserving or the extermination of Ferals. Either way, both need to die, the former because they deserve it, the latter because they must, but at least the latter gets a swift death.
 
I think this describes it best, why deserving punishment is most satisfying. Torturing the innocent just reinforces the realization that the world is shit, and that’s not pleasant.

You make a lot of valid points, but I have a small amount of hope that some of the herd might be nice. They look innocent, but appearances can be deceptive. I’d say deceiving, but that might be too complex for a Fluffy.
 
I used to go to Fluffybooru, but the vast amount of abuse work on innocent (or seemingly innocent) Fluffies infuriated me. Especially if it involved ‘Big Mistah’, that Karma Houdini so-and-so. Plus, much of the artwork, abuse or not, was just bad. It’s kinda the same with me and One Yukkuri Place. Too much abuse of the innocent (or seemingly innocent).

Because they’re probably diseased and spoiled. They will also expect to be able to breed unabated and will probably misbehave and even rebel when restrictions are placed on them.
 
Are you at all familiar with the Fluffy Pony fiction? They usually depicted as a menace when in the wild, spreading filth and disease and basically just ruining everything wherever they are. One of the biggest reasons they’re a menace is the way they breed, which is a lot. You’ll have this unruly rabble of wild not-animals shitting and pissing everywhere, knocking over your furniture and destroying things, making demands, wanting “bestest skettis” and shitting at you when you don’t give them what they want. There is no real canon(just popular head-canons) but Feral Fluffies are frequently depicted commonly adopting atrocious behaviours such as playing favorites with their babies which includes abusing, neglecting, not feeding(causing death by starvation) some babies and even cannibalizing or even raping their own babies for one reason or another. There is also the “Poopie Baby” phenomenon, where “ugly” babies of brown, dark and washed out shades of yellow and green are forced to live in refuse piles and eat nothing but shit. Foals of those colors are usually the ones to be abused because they are ugly.
 
Ideally you’d just own one or a few Fluffies as pets from a store, and you’d control how they do or do not breed. Taking in wild, untrained, undisciplined Fluffies would be a huge mistake, especially since they’ve all ready got babies are are used to freedom. Those babies will grow up quickly and will themselves want babies, and then there babies will want babies, all the while the first parents have been having more babies while their babies have been having babies and so forth. They typically try to have more babies as soon as they can, uncontrollably and endlessly. Would you think it would be reasonable to go and adopt a pack of wild wolves? Or a Pride of Lions? Would you be disappointed that they acted like wild animals?
 
Like I said, they are intended to be pets, pets owned in moderation. Trust me, I’m intimately familiar with Fluffies as I’m a part of the fandom on Fluffybooru, taking in Ferals is a bad idea.

If they don’t belong in the wild, why not give them a shelter instead? Killing the smarty (in a humane way) might be the best decision for it. Everyone else might be redeemable, and worth keeping. If only to make sure future generations of fluffies turn out better than the current gen.

But you’d be letting them survive to breed and ruin things more than they do. Most depictions of Ferals show them as a major pest and sometimes even very destructive. They’re an infection, they don’t belong in the wild.

Personally I’d kill the smarty friend and tell the herd to get off my property. Without a smarty to guide them, herds usually listen.

Subdue and capture the Smarty. Kill the rest of the herd immediately, no survivors. Smarty is used as a stress toy in the torture dungeon.

If the story is just hugbox or abuse, then it will be tedious. A proper mixture of the two is much better.

Hugbox is the same “fluffies doing something cute” crap and abuse is the same “fluffies getting killed/killing themselves.” The only good things in the whole fandom right now are the weirdbox genre writers and the big events like Maroonfall and Scootafluff.

So what horrible and disgusting way are you going to slaughter this herd, artist?
