Yes. In Massachusetts, as with most other states (if not all of them), you are required to obtain an in-state drivers license upon establishing permanent residency.
I’m not sure exactly how long you have to do so, but in most other states it’s usually only about 30 days, so it’s not something one would normally procrastinate on.
