So basically, your theory is that the crystal ponies are dragonborn?
I guess something went very wrong with the QA/QC at Hasbro’s manufacturing facility that day.

Perhaps they had an affinity with crystals because they were related to dragons. (I don’t think they were literally made of crystal.)
Doubt it though.

Dragons as the natural predators of Crystal ponies makes a stupid amount of sense for some reason.
