In general, short answer: yes it’s great that Sweetie finally learns to do some magic.
 
But I love the progression that they showed to us, especially in the details. From little sparks, to only the tip of her horn glowing to eventually her whole horn glowing and being able to lift bigger objects. Also Twilight, being her teacher, I couldn’t wish for more :)
