I liked the game, at least save me a copy. In fact, I kinda prefer it over “Super Mario 64,” as it had some improvements, like the wall-jump actually came in handy, and was easier to pull off. So not everything about it was that hard. I like how it adapted the SMW climbing fences & grates too. I even enjoyed Yoshi in it.
 
Honestly, I’ve played harder games before, and seen much worse.

Super Mario Sunshine is the worst game on this goddamn planet.
 
If I had the time and the motivation, I’d take every copy and throw it into the Pacific Ocean.
 
The entire game is just… Such bullshit. Fuck those Blue Coins, fuck the secret stages, and FUCK CORONA MOUNTAIN SO HARD IN PARTICULAR. GOOOOOOOOOD-DAMN.

The final level (Corono mountain) was a bit hard, but I still loved it personally.
 
I loved “Super Mario Sunshine,” my only beef with it was the lack of classic enemies (like goombas, replaced by these blob things) and how most of the level settings were water/beach themed. Still it was a nice change of pace from the normal Mario game, had a bit more story in it, and adapted some more cool platforming ellements from the 2D games. (Such as climbing on grates like in “Super Mario World.”)
 
Hard to believe that game is “old” now.

It may be easier than Phantamanta, but I still prefer playing that one instead of this one.

I remember pulling my hair out playing that stage as a kid. But when I went back a few months ago to play I aced it easily… I just sucked at video games as a kid.
 
P.S. This stage is still easier than the Phantamanta from Siera Beach.
