I submit to Mistress Rarity.
AS in butt stuff instead of mouth stuff? :D
As a Christian, I’m okay with it.
Lol
But the quote basically is something good about women, in the bible.
That is…
…a Rarity.
America was founded by the lot of people. However, today’s precurssory founders were Christians being persecuted by other Christians for reasons I never bothered remembering. The First Amendment was around while the founders were still alive, and while they didn’t have other religions in mind, I wouldn’t think, they may or may not have had other conflicting forms of Christianity in mind when drafting it.
There is more than one saucy pony pic accompanied by a Bible verse on this site, though. :3
Frankly, “50 Shades of Grey” is infinitely more moral. [/Hosea 13:16]
I know Mistress Rarity is…! :9
Fun not ruined, you’re right that I wouldn’t crack open a bible to find the context (or for any other reason). Hagar, Abraham, Ishmael? Those names mean nothing to me. I could have gone my entire life without your explaination, indeed I will probably forget it minutes after reading it. Please don’t be upset that I choose to remain ignorant of the actual context, preferring instead to imagine a much more exciting scenario.
Totally not an opportunity for somepony to make a cunnilingus joke. >:D
Not to ruin the fun, but I’m going to be that guy, since I doubt most people on this site are willing to crack open a Bible to find the context.
The verse in question is being directed at Hagar, maidservant to Abraham’s wife, who had run away into the desert while pregnant with Abraham’s son Ishmael; endangering both herself and the child.
In summary: Great picture, wildly out-of-context verse.
“No bastard ever won a war by submitting to his mistress…”
And there was sex, and He saw that it was good.
Let there be sex!
