See this picture here takes place at a time when relations between Dragons and ponies were much better. In fact While she wasn’t looking after Twilight she was also looking after Garble. She wanted to introduce them but Captain stuff shirt there thought he’d be a bad influence. (They knda had a Earl/Baby Sinclair relationship)
