I always think that she kept some of her Manehatten upbringing however short it was.
Huh. Guess I misinterpreted that.
Maybe it’s a color-changing dress that alters itself to match its wearer’s natural palette? I admit, it’s a reach, but I like the idea of Rarity making something like that.
I would’ve had her say, “Oh, I made this back when our cutie marks got all mixed up. Just about the only dress that worked.”
But Applejewel/jack/jingleheimerschmitt said it was one of the dresses Rarity owned, hence how she reacted more to the dress being dirty ater finding out.
It’s not like she only designs ensembles for herself.
I mean, the colors wouldn’t suit her at all.
