I’m not sure the show writers are allowed to show Spike being jealous of other ponies paying attention to Rarity. For one thing, it’s a negative character trait they wouldn’t want to glamorize, and for another, it’d distract the episode’s focus away from Rarity.
Yeah I agree.
I never thought it’d come to this: Spike needing to show more signs of his crush on Rarity just to prove that the writers still give a shit about him and his continuity.
I always thought that if it came down to it, it’d be the greed thing.
Oh the irony.
We can only hope it does, because that would be in keeping with his character. All that we’ve seen of him so far just shows him standing there like a grinning idiot as his crush goes on and on about some other pony.
