The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

I actually did this to a friend’s boots while I was in the Air Force. It was our job to wait at the end of runway & de-arm the weapons when the jets landed. That meant a few minutes of fast, dangerous, loud work…and hours of nap time while we waited.
 
While my buddy was asleep in the van I safety wired his boots together…then started yelling “JOHN, JOHN, THE JETS ARE HERE! WE GOTTA GO!”  
Needless to say he face planted on the floor of the van.
