Jeez. How victim complex can you get?
Yeah, I don’t know how the sane Tumblr users can stand it… My friend Anna said she actually catches hell on Tumblr for defending bronies before.
Let me fix that link for you. And yeah, that was a good rebuttal to the essay, and shows it’s only cherry-picking comments, is more based on “opinion,” rather the die-hard “facts,” and such.
I cook delicious barbecue atop your supple bottom.
FAK U MISOJINIST :DDDD
A Grill,eh? Can I cook something delicious atop your person?
Since I disregard the opinions of most sjw’s and tumblrites. I guess that is all I needed to hear.
To me this stuff is about as stupid as the brony community in general pining for acceptance from the normal populace. Fandoms are fandoms for a reason. Drop the victim complex, accept who you are and grow the hell up.
Oh and I’m not directing that last bit at you specifically. I’m just saying.
Uh I don’t know. You tell me. I can’t make a true comparison between real life politics and fandom silliness.
How many old mares are actually rustled anyway? Is there an actual noticeable number of complaining female fans or is it just this one guy with his rant? The only female fans I consciously note are the ones in their early to mid 20’s like myself. Who were fans of MLP a long time back.
Boy, that sure sounds like racial politics in murika, don’t it?
Older male fans of past generations of ponies were most certainly a minority.
From what little I’ve experienced, I can sympathize. But I can’t call the fandom sexist. Rule 34 is a perversion that goes above and beyond bronies. It’s been around long before this fandom. And sure as day Rule 34 will still be around after its gone.
It’s an intense victim complex akin to what many gamers went through when the Great Casualization occurred. When being a gamer used to be a niche thing it made them feel special. Like when World of Warcraft used to be hella complicated. Now a new player can pretty much pay up front for the best stuff and no one can feel special anymore.
Or how people who bought TF2 feel about the kids who got it for free. It’s the feeling of exclusivity and in this case maybe, femininity that has become scarce. And female fans feel like the third wheel in a franchise that was made for them.
Older/Female fans of the MLP franchise probably feel eclipsed.
It was sarcasm. I thought the winky made that clear.
I’m skinny, usually shaven, and never even worn a fedora. I don’t think I ever even met a brony who wears one. Nice try, fail troll.
@Background Pony #0420
Easy, they’d rant about it on their websites/blogs about how sexist people are for calling them that, while also generalizing others. :P
If we went around saying all SJWs are fat, ugly woman who cant find a man and cant dress in any way that doesnt send him for the hills, how would you react?
Because people receive their morals on a hand-me-down basis, and they rarely stop to consider whether what they’ve been told to believe makes any sense.
It’s a game of Chinese whispers played throughout the ages. A few errors crop up here and there.
“Internet”? Try western society.
Its crazy how much privilege women have on the internet. Can you imagine a guy acting like Pinkiepony and being defended? I wish I had a 10th of that privilege.
