Oh, we don’t have any compunctions that including any official ships in the show, especially for Mane characters, would be an ultimately bad thing for the show, either in itself or future development. But it is annoying where harmless fanfics or fanart get yelled at for “STOP SHIPPING WHAT I DON’T SHIP DAMNIT!”
And what if I told you there are people who have legitimate reasons for not wanting shipping to be shoehorned into the show? I guess you probably wouldn’t believe me, which is truly a shame.
Probably because of “Muh Waifu” and “Muh Lezbians” reactions. But Flash gets extra hate because he was kind of boring. He had a cool car, and could play guitar, and … Nope that’s about it for his personality.
