Well, it’s a boss, and you have to go out of your way to see it at all. And Wither Skeletons are rare and aren’t hard to take down with a bow.

Or if it’s your first time playing, you just finished making your first shelter as night falls, and you realize too late you forgot to put up lights to keep them from spawning near the shelter.
Even worse when you are working on something complicated, like a huge redstone contraption or some big machinery in FTB.
Happened to me once in FTB. Creeper blew up a shitton of Forestry stuff that had just set up to make an automatic treefarm, connected to a setup to make generate biofuel.
I just closed the game then and did not go back to that world…
You literally get a second to go “FUCK!” and it’s all over.
They’re not that bad…
