(same BP) Oh so it’s as simple as that? Eh I can see that, I did just say that one thing I’ll give nazis is that they’re uniform style was actually pretty cool looking, and it sucks that that particular style has been ruined by the history of bigotry nazis left, ruining any imagery associated with them (one particularly bad one is the swastika, which is an inverted Manji from Buddhism, and due to a lack of cultural understandings of Buddhism outside of Asian cultures a lot of Westerners have this terrible tendency to confuse Manji for the nazi swastika, causing controversy where there was none [like tourist maps that used the manji for pointing out Buddhist temples, or even a Pokemon card which used the symbol]).

I’ll admit at first this guy’s apparent “Nazi fascination” kinda bugged me, until I noticed it seems more like he’s just fascinated by how “weird” they were rather than being some kind of “pure Aryan race” kind of neo-nazi. In that way I kinda get it then, the nazis actually are interesting to study in regards to the kind of crazy shit they had going on behind the scenes. Heck this is even explored in some fiction (“Nazi Zombies” and “Wolfenstein” come to mind, and Red Skull from Marvel comics).

I guess the best way to say it is that just because someone has a fascination with something controversial/weird doesn’t mean that they actually “follow” said thing (I’m fascinated by what certain religions believe in and practice, doesn’t mean I actually do said practices or believe their belief systems). Plus even I’ll admit the nazis had cool military uniforms. >_> (why is it bigots have to ruin good things? First the KKK ruin wearing white sheets, then nazis make certain European military uniforms all look “nazi-like”)
