I’m I the only one who notice some similarities between “The Smurfs” and “My Little Pony: Equestria Girls”?

I…think you mean THIS year. There aren’t any Pixar films coming out in 2014.

I am, however, more excited for “Inside Out”.

And while it’s not Pixar, I’m also looking forward to “Ratchet & Clank”, next year as well.

To be frank. Brave did have its moments of being good, but I wouldn’t call it a “masterpiece” by any means. Wasn’t my kind of movie

Speaking of oscars, Pixar won’t have a film for the next award year for 2015

If it was the “same old story” from Disney then why is Merida the one to do everything?
Why does she cause to problem AND fix it?
Why does she not have a prince at the end to merry?
Why does she not like being a princess?
The answer, IT”S NOT THE SAME OLD THING FROM DISNEY!

@HighRollerHydra
No. Brave had a poor story with a bad execution. if Brenda didn’t get fired we would have had a much better movie than the same old story we’ve seen that used to come out of Disney. Which now surprisingly came out of Pixar.

Oh yes, because it’s impossable for it to win on it’s own.
BULL!
Looking art all the critical rating of both, they where even, and if you looks at the number of awards won by both then the Oscars make Brave have 14 to Wreck-It Ralph’s 13.

Have you even SEEN Brave? Look how gorgeous it is! Both it and Ralph have their high points! Besides, why should awards matter? Isn’t it up to everyone to decide what’s a favorite in their own right?

Also, I’m going to have to say bull of the bribeing to get Brave to win, I have seen both and to be honest, they are both just as good so it could of been ether one to win.

If you haven’t been up with the latest news, John Lassester hasn’t been doing a very good job with handling things at Disney. Like so.

**He fired Chris Sanders(Lilo and Stitch) for having his project “American Dog” not following the routes of the way Walt Disney did movie making in terms of story(which later resulted into a Toy Story clone as some put it ‘Bolt’).

*He fired Brenda Chapman while she was doing Brave. Rumors went out about Brenda wanting the film to be similar to the likeness of Samurai Jack, but John later fired her off from the development of the film and reworked it to make it more ‘suitable’ for Pixar standards. Faust has made a comment about this action, she wasn’t too pleased by the matter.

approves sequels that NOBODY ASKED FOR. You wanna know why Cars II, Planes, its spin-offs, and hell Finding Dory are happening? Because John approved of them. My brother and I didn’t see any demand for Cars II, or even aspin off of the film for the matter. Hell. We didn’t even see people ask for a follow-up to nemo. They wanted the Incredibles. The only reason why the Cars sequel happened was because the toys(thats right, toys) sold more than what the film made theatrically. The sequel only got approved because of the toys that were making Disney $$$. My brother has spoken with a few people who formally worked for pixar(he’s not saying who), and they all agreed that they felt they were gun pointed by Disney to do this crap. People asked for a sequel to The Incredibles. They didn’t ask for crap that they did not ask for. Nobody even took the news of Finding Dory well.

Don’t even get me started about Wreck it ralph not winning the Oscar. My brother is still angry at John for ‘bribing’(since we all know that Pixar cant have a bad rep without winning the Oscar) the heads of the oscars for allowing Brave to win over a good movie like Wreck it Ralph.
