Not sure whether Scootaloo’s house is and orphanage, foster home, or normal parents house, but here it is anyways. I’m sure someone will vectorize it soon enough.

We can’t really tell how big it is for sure. Besides, boarding houses may be any size.
a house that well kept is unlikely to be abandoned.

Important or not, there’s still plenty here left open to interpretation. No one that I know of ever seriously suspected that she was actually living on the street, so not much has actually changed.
We already know something about her family, so we aren’t as curious.
It’s all about the rampant speculation.
Apart from saying she lives next to a windmill and a pond: the same could probably be said for Sweetie Belle for when not living with her sister.
She could be a minimalist…
Or maybe it’s for the same reason that we never see her home life or family, it’s just not important.
This tells us as close to nothing as possible.
All we can say for sure is she seems to have her own room.
Well, you’re certainly free to believe what you want, but anything’s possible at this point. The only thing obvious is that she isn’t living under a bridge somewhere. Also, some have observed that while Scootaloo’s possessions are in that room, it has a decidedly “bland” appearance, less personalized than most rooms belonging to others in the cast, including Sweetie Belle and Applebloom. Take that as you will.
You missed the part where it’s not in the boon docks, there’s not a giant truck parked in the front yard with a boat hitch for their pontoon, and there’s not half a junk yard’s worth of cars in the knee-high grass.
But the room she had was clearly hers, and it was a pretty big room. I think she has a family.
This is only the front of it. It still could be an orphanage or something similar. Those pillars do sort of give it an “official building” kind of look. I’m betting they left it vague on purpose.
Both her parents are earf horses.
Like rich, but not a millionaire.
Scoot’s parent/s are wealthy. My headcanon* is safe thus far. :)
*Scootaloo has a rich Mom who is very fussy and protective of her (she’s all that remains of her late husband). Scootaloo often detests her mom’s contant smothering, and uses her messy manestyle and scooter-riding as her own little way of rebelling against her.
