Description

I couldn’t help but notice many similarities… Maybe I just WANT to see them somehow, but still… I don’t know.

OH ALSO DISCORD WAS TURNED TO STONE THE SAME WAY ASH WAS. Can’t believe I forgot to mention that on the pic.

Yes if we ignore the fact that actually Mewtwo was just misunderstood in the original Japanese version of Pokémon the First Movie. 4Kids raped it by making Mewtwo to be generic villain.

I’m not saying those are references, they’re indeed pretty generic things in animation nowadays, but considering this episode was obviously not meant to have any Pokémon references (unlike some other obvious ones like S02E26 and S03E02), it striked me how many similarities I managed to find in that 2 minutes or so flashback.

Also there are 26 images, and only 5 of them are not in the correct chronological order, and only the two Pikachu ones have any significance in the story.

These aren’t really similarities between Pokemon and MLP, but generic moments in multiple sources (I bet someone can make the same thing with DBZ). It also hurts that you rearranged the moments to make your point.
