If is “cured” it will still probably be home to many dangerous creatures ( Timber Wolves, Cockatrices, Manticores, etc. ) it will probably just look prettier.
I mean you look at any given forest in summer, and it looks like a nice peaceful place, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a wild grizzly in there that will tear your freaking head off with a single swipe.

It’s too interesting of a concept to just throw away.
Twilight and her friends defeat the Everfree Forest and make it completely normal. She takes Celestia and Luna’s old castle and makes it her own.
