I AM HEAVY WEAPONS PIE…AND THIS [GRABS PICKUP TRUCK WITH MACHINE GUN IN THE BACK] IS MY WEAPON. [LAYS BOTH HOOVES COVETOUSLY ON TRUCK AND MACHINE GUN] THERE ARE MANY OTHERS LIKE IT BUT THIS ONE COSTS FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS TO FIRE FOR 12 SECONDS. WITHOUT ME, MY WEAPON IS USELESS, WITHOUT MY WEAPON, I AM EASY TARGET FOR RAIBOW DASH! (Rainbow dash is scout)
Did I do it right?
Actually… no I didn’t.
Yeah,I think that’s what happened later,if my memory doesn’t fail me.
Good thing that didn’t stopped him to direct that one “serious” episode of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.
i know the story, BTW, the guess art director ragequit after some nasty fans posted nasty complains…
It was a different style,from a guest director/animator.
It seemed that some people took it way too personally, though.Simply because apparently it looked “too ugly”.
I believe that one should be able to tell a difference between “Different animation” and “QUALITY ANIMATION”.The 4th episode of Gurren Lagann falls in the first category.
I mean, that episode didn’t looked that bad as people made it look to be,it just got a different style, just like Hiroyuki Imaishi has a very distinctive style of his own.I felt sorry for Osamu Kobayashi,as I did like his work on Paradise Kiss and Beck. It’s kinda unique, especially from someone working in anime industry.
Ohhhh yeah now I remember.
Yeah you’re right about that.
they meet kittan and his sisters, fight some furry balls that may be related to Fluffy Puff and learned to Combine (the first time was an lucky hit).
Sadly the animation of that episode was…weird…
What was episode 4 about again?
I completely forgot.
actually it was the scond episode were they do it…but animation of that episode…
Wasn’t that the episode where Simon and Kamina first combined?
