That’s why I did the weird hybrid. I wanted it to look as western as possible, but be an actual repeating firearm that fired multiple shots. Just please don’t as how the trigger works :P

That’s a nice piece of fanart sir/madam.
Top break and swing open revolvers may work too, if she is using a speed-loader. The C96 is strip-loaded from the top of the magazine. These could work if she is using her mouth to grab the rounds.
Volcanic pistol are basically like those lever-action rifles, they have to be reloaded one round at a time. That could be a little inconvenient without hands.

Thank y’all. I was going to give her a revolver first, but then it hit me: How the flying “f” would a pony load bullets into the chamber? So then I figured a string of bullets attached together, kind of like a belt-feed system.
It’s certainly possible. They both have that unorthodox boxy shape. The only reason I would argue C96 vs M1894 is because of the placement of the trigger guard. On the other hand, the barrel does look closer to the M1894.

Yeah, it does look like a Volcanic Pistol.
Volcanic Pistols would suit a cowgirl more than a automatic pistol.

It’s a hybrid of a C96 and a .41 Volcanic Pistol. In hindsight, though, I wish I’d just used the Steyr (I’d never heard of it, lol). I spent like, an hour designing that blasted gun and there’s a real one just like it >:(
Odd.
Cause that gun looks more like a Steyr Mannlicher M1894 to me.
I also imagine Scootaloo killing Lightning Dust to avenge the death of her swore sister, Dash.
