Sadly the writers didn’t go the route of Peewee choosing to live with Spike after leaving the nest.
Just a cameo in Molt Down(I think) and that’s it.
Here comes the people swarming at me with “But he’s a wild animal, Spike has no right to keep him!”. Its most likely because of those people Spike lost out on a great pet and friend.
By that logic, Celestia isn’t allowed to have her phoenix pet too, who knows how did she gotten it.
We could have had great visual puns: like Spike blowing out a candle only for Peewee to sneeze the flame back onto the wick. Instead, we got a full season of “Squidward Torture Porn” dedicated to Spike in Season 4.
The predictions were so in line, you’d think they’re time travellers!

Not exactly…
I personally have a bit of headcanon I mentioned in another image with Peewee in it.
Obviously, Peewee’s parents realized Spike, in giving back their son, wasn’t like most other dragons they came across. As a result, they often allow him to look after Peewee whenever necessary (and sometimes just let them spend their days together), until, eventually, letting a grown-up Peewee stay with Spike once he leaves the nest.
See? Happy ending for all.
